The owners of this 1970’s Tudor style home aspired to get a more spa like setting in the master bathroom. The obvious decision was to add on and create a master bath spa.
We bumped the addition out 2’ beyond the nook. Post or corbels didn’t pose desirable options. Per the engineers instructions we installed reverse hung joist hangars to support the addition.
The existing tub was utilizing much needed space so the we replaced it with a freestanding tub and incorporated vaulted ceilings with skylights.
Cabinets were replaced to fit within existing space and darket heated tile floors were installed to replace the dated white tile. A wall hung television and surround sound topped off the elegance of this master bath spa.
- Addition of 2 extra feet
