The Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW) has an annual Excellence in Remodeling (EIR) award ceremony. This award ceremony offers recognition and credibility for local members as well as an opportunity for these professionals to showcase their outstanding quality craftsmanship in a variety of categories and price ranges. The awards are given after a blind judging panel reviews each project based on a set list of criteria. These awards offer exposure in a positive light through the recognition from individual room remodels to entire home remodels done by various companies. The BIAW EIR awards are also beneficial for the community to see which companies would work best for their desired vision. This year 59 projects were submitted and Renewal Construction won 4 awards from 23 different categories.
